SSTAGE Election Information

Have you considered becoming a member of the SSTAGE Board of Directors?

SSTAGE is always looking for members of the association who have a sincere commitment to assisting the organization in its mission and vision.  We need for them to consider running for a board office or joining one of our committees.  As we are a relatively new professional association, the Board wants to encourage educators in Georgia who are interested in this new opportunity to hold a statewide leadership position.

Each year, SSTAGE holds an election in early January for open positions on the Board.  All elected positions on the board begin the following July 1st.

The SSTAGE Board of Director positions open for 2012-2013 include:

  • President-Elect (a three-year sequence of President-Elect, President, & Past-President)
  • Secretary  (two-year term)
  • Region 2 Representative (East Georgia)  (three-year term)
  • Region 5 Representative  (Metro Atlanta) (three-year term)
